Collection: Patricia Harrington Book

Patricia Harrington celebrates the life and art of painter Patricia Harrington (1924–2019). The 200-page book traces the artist’s sixty-year career in transparent watercolor, oil, and acrylic media through reproductions of more than 90 paintings and text that illuminate her life as an artist and creative process. The book is based on the retrospective exhibition, Patricia Harrington: Essences of the Earth (March 3–April 1, 2023), held in the Patricia Harrington Gallery Building at the Academy Center of the Arts in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is authored by the exhibition’s curator, Ellen Schall Agnew.
